You Don’t Need That Salad Dressing

It has been a long time since I posted last, but I have not stopped thinking about how to inform my readers of wonderful things they can do for themselves to support health, fitness, and personal beauty. Here is some quick advise that I have been sharing with everyone. Loosing weight is in your mind. You don’t have to have that taste that you crave so much like ranch dressing or vanilla icing. I changed my mind and decided that I wanted to avoid knee surgery and stop aching just because I tried to get out of the car. I dropped fat and I lost fat. I decided no more oil, mayo, butter, ANYTHING that was greasy was not my friend. I even decided to fry my food in milk. I kept whole mild for the sake of health and calcium absorption. But I dropped fats totally. My skin turned into a luminous canvas that I had never seen before. I used pickle juice and salsa to flavor snacks and other meals. I learned to find the sweetness in veggies that I never tasted before. I am so happy to share this with you. I learned to crave new flavors because this change was dire and important to me. I decided to crave health. It is not so hard, if you really want to save your health in a serious way. Will power has nothing to do with it. It is about avoiding pain and surgery later in life. I have a bad back and I cannot afford to be overweight. My body tells me if I am getting too heavy by the presenc of pain. Then I know it is time to focus on health because if I don’t watch my health, all of my other achievements will end in a hospital bed. Am I gonna let a biscut do that?

Okay ladies, fall is in full swing now. Firey autumn colors are burning up the runways and local department stores. Look for shades of pumpkin in sweaters, tops, and even in makeup selections. Orange eyelids? Yes. A muted, warm shade of burnt orange will go surprisingly well with scarlet lips, earth tones, and it all looks great with a pair of your favorite jeans and boots!

Okay ladies! Tis the season for COLOR! As you may have noticed, colorful eyes are batting their lashes this summer. Make sure you don’t let this cheerful summer trend pass you by! The color combinations you can do are only as limited as your imagination. For ideas, look to nature for inspiration. Do the “sunset” in pinks and hues of gold and yellow; do one of my personal favorites, what I call “the peacock” and do hues of purple and green. Just be sure that whatever your color combination might be, place the darker shades towards the outsides of your eyes if your eyes are closer together or evenly spaced (about one eyes width between your eyes mean they are evenly spaced). If your eyes are wide set, place darker shades towards the inside of the brow bone and eyelids. Have fun this season and use shimmery shades as well that will only brighten up your lovely face and your mood! And don’t forget to include your eyelashes in your color pallet! I love shades of blue, green and even pink mascara! You can find such colors in the makeup isle of your local Walmart or you can Google locations that sell this fabulous makeup option!
